School Parliament Election Week!
During the week beginning the 23rd September 2019 GNSA Primary are learning all about their School Parliament.
The children will have the exciting opportunity to learn all about politics (KS2) and positions of responsibility (KS1) as GNSA encourages the pupils to stand for election as their class School Parliament Representative on Friday. Key Stage 2 will have the additional chance to listen to an external speaker and learn all about the UK's Parliament, how MPs are elected, how it works and what democracy is which will help them prepare their own election speeches.
The week will culminate in both the class' elections and the election of the new Head Boy and Head Girl for the remainder of the academic year, a very exciting, unique position for two responsible Year 6 pupils!
